History buffs visiting the area will enjoy visiting old ghost towns and abandoned mines, while the area is home to an incredible depth and breadth of outdoor activities for fishing, hunting, rock hounding, mountain biking and hiking. In the winter the area offers trails for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing and is the base for phenomenal heli-skiing excursions and backcountry exploration.
