Rivers Inlet

Rivers Inlet, BC

Rivers Inlet is a fjord along the coast of the Great Bear Rainforest, about 125 kilometres (78 mi) southwest of Bella Coola, with a logging and fishing town, and is also the home of the Wuikinuxv and their government. Rivers Inlet was once a major fishing area with huge salmon runs and three canneries along the shoreline. Today, it provides a peaceful location for a fishing getaway for those looking to try their hand at sportfishing in some of Canada’s top fishing waters, head out wildlife tour, hike and generally relax while enjoying a seaside escape to this remote, yet beautiful area of the Great Bear Rainforest.
