Wilderness Trails facilitates conservation trips into the vast wilderness of the Chilcotin Ark. All our trips are based on our six principles of Nature Connection, Conservation and Stewardship, Personal Development, Self-Sufficiency, Empowerment and Conscious and Aware. Each and every wilderness adventure will allow you to fully engage and connect with the natural world around you while contributing to nature conservation. Our wilderness adventures will empower you as you learn new skills and do things you never done before. Here, at Wilderness Trails, you will have an adventure of a lifetime and leave with lifelong memories. But more importantly, after your adventure you will find yourself transformed and have more clarity on your interests, goals and purpose. We offer once-in-a-lifetime opportunities like Mountain Goat Kid Counts, Californa Bighorn Sheep Lamb counts and other Wildlife Tracking and Conservation Horseback Pack Trips.
Join one of our mentor guides for the wilderness horseback guide training, bushcraft course, or a wildlife photography guided tour. Or venture out on your own on our self-guided Hiking or Mountain Bike Hut-to-Hut tour or to enjoy the region’s abundant lakes and rivers fly fishing. Join us in the winter for unique wolf and mountain lion tracking, eagle scouting, and bighorn sheep viewing or snowmobiling and background skiing.
Our accommodation options include a campground, our historic Ranch Lodge, private ranch log cabins and our rustic mountain cabins in the backcountry.
