Garrett Newkirk - Full of Heart in Bella Coola

Born and raised in the Bella Coola Valley, Garrett has been a coastal experience enthusiast for the last 40 years.

Garret runs Inner Coast Inlet Tours as well as managing Tallheo Cannery Guest House after taking over from his father, keeping the legacy alive in the coastal community of Bella Coola in the Great Bear Rainforest.

“I love what I do so much, I get a lot of pride and joy in showing others what I get to experience every day.”

In the winter months, Garrett is part of the team at Bella Coola Heli Sports, ensuring guests have a memorable experience of the region that he loves so much.

“I hope that when they go back to wherever they are from that they go home with some good memories of this place so they want to come back.”
