70 Mile House: Ice Fishing Derby & Ice Races

Whether you’re racing or just watching, the 5th Annual Ice Races in 70 Mile House promise high-speed excitement on the frozen surface. Enjoy the action by the fire, and don’t forget to grab a bite from the BBQ by donation!

Meanwhile, Eddy’s Bar & Grill hosts the 1st Annual 70 Mile House Ice Fishing Derby at Green Lake. Join in for a day of fun, friendly competition, and plenty of prizes to be won.

Lone Butte: Outhouse Races

Get ready for one of the most unique events of the Family Day Weekend: the Outhouse Race! In Lone Butte, on Highway 24, watch costumed racers push their creatively themed outhouses to victory in this fun-filled competition. Enjoy snow games, a 50/50 draw, and food stands while cheering on the teams. And start the day with a delicious breakfast buffet at the Iron Horse Pub, available from 10:00 am on a first-come, first-served basis!

Williams Lake: Family Day at Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex

What better way to enjoy Family Day with free and fun activities at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex in Williams Lake? On February 17, families can enjoy a variety of activities, including free skating, swimming, and the “Bring the Fam Rail Jam”—a relaxed ski and snowboarding rail competition for youth with awesome prizes in multiple age categories.
