Sheridan Lake is on Highway 24 and part of the “Land of Hidden Waters.” Directly north of the lake lies the Interlakes – where visitors can find basic amenities. Sheridan Lake is known for exceptional lake fishing, including Rainbow Trout which are found regularly from May through October, while fly fishermen can also find terrific fishing opportunities among the many weed beds and islands.
The lake offers over 208 km (130 mi) of mapped and signed trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, as well as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Many of the trails in this area are excellent for horseback riding.
