As one of the larger Cariboo Lakes at 37 km (23 mi) long, Canim Lake offers scenic beauty surrounded by evergreen forests, meadows and mountains. Hike to Canim Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park along the south side of Canim Lake, or relax on the water with swimming, boating, or fishing – as well as winter pursuits.
Fishing enthusiasts take note – at Canim Lake you’ll find some of BC’s best freshwater fly-fishing and ice fishing. Those who prefer to keep their feet on terra firma can enjoy hiking and horseback riding.
